Afonso de Lima — Sapiranga, Brazil

What is your favourite album cover? “I would choose the album cover for Ansiedade na Cidade by Brazilian band Catavento. The graphic design was by the artists Leonardo Lucena and Leonardo Sandi, both designers who are a reference point for me and important figures in the independent music scene in Rio Grande do Sul. Their art has unique characteristics.”

Afonso de Lima is a graphic artist with more than 10 years’ experience in art direction and graphic design. His talent for advertising was honed at Unisinos, working for brands such as Spotify, Popload, Gol Airlines and others, as well as developing projects for Mac DeMarco (Canada), Yuck (UK) and Boogarins (Brazil). He is currently director of communications at the company Mais Shows.
