Ákos Polgárdi — Budapest, Hungary

“The main challenge is to deal with the shortage of space presented by the amount of pictorial content (for catalogues), or the amount of qualitative/quantitative data (for reports). In the case of album/catalogue design, one example of this complexity (and possible source of mistakes) comes with the fact that the designer has to manage lots of images and related textual content (captions, credits, etc.), which can prove tedious.”

Ákos Polgárdi is an independent graphic designer as well as one half of the collective Submachine. He specialises in branding, editorial design and architectural graphics.
