What is the attraction for you of creating illustration? “The creative act is always very powerful, it brings out a thought that before has been created only in my mind, and it gives a concrete expression in its realisation.”

Italy-based artist Alfred Basha, who was born in Albania, says that his inner world is “full of surreal projections and metamorphosis” and that he “shapes imaginary stories, chosen for their intrinsic and primordial expressiveness,” using mainly black ink, pen and paper.
