"I established my minimalist style during my early years of studing architecture at Siracusa. I have always been inspired by the idea of simplifying an object while keeping it recognisable to anybody."

Working with remarkably few lines and colours has created a signature style for Italian designer Andrea Gallo. He studied at the University of Architecture in Siracusa (Italy) and has collaborated with many design studios as a graphic and industrial designer. Highly influenced by minimalist art, he draws all his ideas for new graphics or illustrations in a sketchbook that he takes with him wherever he goes before converting them via computer software.
