“For me, it’s really about how I structure my tools and assets—almost like curating a personal library. I’ve found that the technical aspects, while essential, can often become routine and creatively limiting. So I prioritise choosing the tools that best serve the concept, allowing me to navigate the technical process more efficiently. That way, I can devote more energy to what truly counts: the idea, the atmosphere, and the emotional depth I want each piece to express.”
Andréa Philippon is a multidisciplinary digital artist and 3D designer based in Lausanne, Switzerland. With a deep reverence for nature—particularly the vegetal and fungi kingdoms—his work explores the intersection of organic forms, surrealism, and technology. Drawing inspiration from art, science, and ecology, he creates richly detailed animations that merge reality with fantasy to reflect on the fragility and beauty of our environment. After transitioning from hospitality to digital arts, Andréa has collaborated with artists such as David Guetta and Björk, and his work has been exhibited internationally in cities including Paris, Tokyo, and Shanghai.
