Atelier Ivorin – Orin Ivan Vrkaš — Zagreb, Croatia

“Inspired by Stefan Sagmeister’s project ‘Things I Have Learned In My Life So Far’ and the many professional and personal experiences and turmoil in the first year since my graduation from the Zagreb School of Design, I created a series of 3D minimalist typographic posters illustrating the simple maxims and thoughts I had come to perceive.”

Using walls as a sort of confessional is not a new idea, but it’s one that seems to have endless appeal for both artists and viewers alike. Ivorin Vrkas, a Croatian graphic designer from Zagreb, has designed a series of posters with superimposed type and simple illustrative shapes to say something about the mistakes and achievements of his artistic career to date.
