Atelier Müesli — Paris, France

"The younger generation is now trying to operate a mix between these two tendencies (pictorialist and expressionist), both of which are a part of us. Some of us are quite influenced by vernacular and popular culture, especially in typographic work."

Müesli’s approach is based on a "graphic way of imagining conceptual systems that allows infinite and intelligent declination". The studio attaches particular importance to developing original typographic solutions for its projects. It also pays close attention to the know-how of printing and engraving, and understanding material and textures. Its work is not restricted to just using the computer, but involves some home-made processes such as wood-cutting and silk-screening to enrich the overall impact.
