Baku Maeda — Sapporo, Japan

Baku Maeda is a classic doodler—but be sure to look between the lines.

Based in Sapporo, illustrator Baku Maeda expresses tremendous energy and power with his sketches. Switching between analogue and digital techniques, the artist has participated in international exhibitions such as “Goback2d” in the UK, and has a penchant for new and legendary Japanese animation like Akira and Tekkon Kinkreet.
