Balázs Kétyi — Budapest, Hungary

“Every material has pros and cons. For me, paper was the most challenging. It’s easy to work with because it’s cheap and you can easily deliver your ideas by printing on it, but at the same time it’s hard to create a packaging design that’s able to function in real situations. For example, the packaging has to survive the shipping process or sitting in a pile on a shelf. The customer also has to be able to open and close the package without damaging it. In the case of paper, it’s not easy.”

Kétyi is a 22-year-old Hungarian designer, currently studying graphic design at Budapest Metropolitan University and working across the fields of branding, graphic design, UI/UX design and concept art. His main goal is “to find solutions for visual problems and create original and unique products”.
