Beck Wheeler — Melbourne, Australia

Beck Wheeler set out to make her fortune armed with a pen, a needle, some cotton, and a pocket full of magical beans.

Multifaceted artist Beck Wheeler left Hamburg, Germany for New Zealand and later Australia, following the call of her desire to paint, draw, and sew stuff. She currently designs limited-edition plush toys under the name Kissy Kissy, and recently completed writing and illustrating her first children’s book, How Absurd! But so far her painting, drawing, and sewing quest doesn’t seem very absurd at all.
