“It is important to take into account the needs of the company with the development of anything, including pattern. Sometimes the right selected elements, colour and contrast, can say much more than a printed logo. It is worth thinking wider than traditional repetitive patterns. It is necessary to tell a story, to try to say something. The requirements for designing the pattern are the same as those for the logo design. It should be easily recognisable and memorable.”
