Camilla Falsini — Rome, Italy

“I would say that the main differences are practical, because on a visual level my works for publishing or advertising are very similar to those on walls. Of course, when preparing an image for a wall painting, perhaps of large dimensions, this also counts in the design of the image itself.
I also know that I will be less free than with an all-digitally-created work.
Size also matters. In the works on the wall, I try to have a great visual impact. I don’t like using pastel tones.”

Camilla Falsini’s work is characterized by clear lines, stylized and minimal shapes and strong colours, and it ranges from editorial illustration to large wall paintings, from design objects to books. She is an illustrator and muralist for Italian and international agencies, publishing houses, companies and magazines. Her outdoor murals can be found throughout Italy.
