“There’s nothing more fulfilling than to be able to use my talents to inspire, motivate, create awareness, help solve problems that affect our society, bring people together and simply make people feel better with a typographic dose of positivity and reality.”
Colombian-born designer Camilo Rojas regularly uses words and letters as a visual medium to build up a connection with viewers. His work is mainly based on typography and experimenting with it as an art form, selecting diverse materials to create certain messages with specific purposes. “I have used materials ranging from syringes and needles, clothing tags, Swarovski crystals and ice to wine corks, condoms and cigarettes.” Rojas’s ideas-driven creations strive for simplicity, playfulness and first-class craftsmanship.
