Claire Vimont — Nantes, France

“I’m more interested in low technologies than high technologies because I think we urgently need to care of our planet. How to produce financially accessible games locally, without using plastic or cutting the forests down? I see a lot of really interesting initiatives such as toys made from recycled plastic and yoghurt pots or 3D printing with threads made from coffee, shells, plants, etc. I love playing with different re-cycled papers or printing processes. Did you know you can screen-print with coffee or beetroot ink?”

Claire Vimont is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, specialising in educational projects (games, books, podcasts, etc.). She says she loves working on feminist, social, health or ecological projects. She has created a collection of five games about sexual education and participates at conferences and events “to reflect on a better and more inclusive sexual education”.
