I personally see a movement in the direction of creative collectives, similar to that of Public School, where people with different skill-sets team up to share resources and trade services in a way that allows them to produce better work for clients that they might not command on their own, while still giving them the freedom necessary to work on individual projects with their own clients if they choose.
