“Good edible design begins with the idea that good food starts being enjoyed by the eyes – so if something looks wonderful on the plate it already starts to engage and satisfy... With some of the design we’ve produced it has to communicate quickly, as it might be displayed on a high street or at a busy event, and be simple enough to be understood immediately – but hopefully interesting enough to also stay in the mind.”
Crispin Finn is a combination of a middle name and a nickname of each of the founders, Roger and Anna. They thought that such a combination had a nice ring to it, and liked the idea of working semi-anonymously under a pseudonym.
