“I don’t have a clearly defined plan for the future…The simple answer is that I have a desire and ambition to create strong work and to continue to develop and grow as a designer.”
Bjørn Ortmann is the man behind Daddy Studio, a one-man studio established in early 2008 after he finished his studies in London. The name came from his graduation project, which was a typographic interpretation of Sylvia Plath’s poem Daddy. He experienced a lot of development during that period, discovering new areas and possibilities, and ended up producing a whole book printed from hand-carved woodblocks.
