What is your most memorable promotional design? “The series of posters entitled ‘Book Club: Center 2 Center’ allows for two modes of display: they can be put up on the wall and also be worn. The fact that the medium of the poster is not used in the traditional way but instead is printed on fabric so that it can be worn like clothing is a novel idea.”

This design studio was co-founded by Daeki Shim and his brother Hyojun Shim in 2014. They have won and been selected for around 100 international design awards and biennales. Most notably, the Grand Prix at the Red Dot Design Award, the Judge’s Choice Award at the STA 100 and the Platinum & Gold Awards at the Graphis Annual. Along with running their studio, they have been teaching at several universities in South Korea.
