Elisa Vendramin — Sacile, Italy

"A new generation of designers slowly taking over: small studios and new graduates are re-shaping the graphic scene, starting to work with local cultural institutions, museums, festivals and so on. This process, I think, will slowly 'visually educate' to a more conscious communication, not only from the aesthetic point of view, but also from the contents."

As an illustrator, Elisa Vendramin found abstraction very challenging to work with, seeing that forms and colour are the perfect match with each other, a perfectly balanced equation between full and empty, where every single detail has been placed into a spot with obsessive precision.
