Esther Stocker — Vienna, Austria

"Good environmental graphics are related to an individual, or to people. I start with aesthetic ideas, but of course all graphics, all structures also have a social dimension."

Esther Stocker reckons that there are two ways to describe her work: put simply, you could say that she uses white, black or grey long and short strips to fill walls. Or you could say, as she does, that she works “with systems, geometric structures that deal with the co-existence of order and disorder.”
