“For my Weather App, I re-thought the usual weather icons with a minimalist, modern conception. If you see a sun in the sky, you understand that it is a sunny day, but I think that if you see a yellow circle you can also see a sun. I think that´s what made it successful. I didn’t want to saturate the screen with words – I wanted a plain white background on which the icons will be self-evident. There are three vertical levels where you can just swipe to choose a city, a day or a moment of that day.”

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Gabrield Nazoa studied visual comunication in Madrid, Spain, where he also gained his first work experiences as a designer for advertising agencies and then as a freelance.
