‘Hello’ posters are forced into a sort of minimalist mode of working by limiting the design to the paper/ink colour combination, leaving the designer to rely on form and contrast alone to do the heavy lifting.

The Hello Poster Show is a fund-raising exhibition featuring silk-screened posters created by designers and artists from around the world. It was founded in 2009 by Benjamin K. Shown and Alanna MacGowan as an outlet for artists to flex their creative muscles in aid of a good cause. All “Hello” posters are designed with a theme in mind and are lovingly silk-screened by skilled practitioners.
