A designer and software engineer currently residing in Portland, Oregon, Ian Collins first encountered the world of invitation design when he gave himself the challenge of making his own wedding invitations. The venue was his childhood home so he really went to town with an informative laser-cut and hand-stitched card that featured a pop-up forest surrounding the phrase "join us in the woods"; a field-guide booklet with drawings of local wildlife; and a perforated RSVP card with a map of the area and further information on the event.
