Irina Kopytina — London, UK

Using glitches in typographic design can be dangerous and she has to be careful not to go over the top. “It all depends on the final goal,” she says. “If the idea is to make text readable then it needs a lot of tweaking and visual research to find the right balance between glitch visuals and readability.”

Irina Kopytina has always been fascinated by the natural scientific processes that underpin her production. “I want to show the reality that is riddled with mathematical and physical phenomena,” she says. “I am trying to discover the very essence of things hidden to our eyes, that is the base of all my concepts and designs.”
