“The piece that has received the best response from people has been my interactive vinyl cover for Janácek’s Sinfonietta. People are fascinated by the way that two identical patterns rotating on top of each other can create so many different variations. I find that a lot of design today has become heavily dependent on illustrations rather than focusing on the content. By only showing two things – one die-cut with the pattern, and another showing the name of the music – it creates curiosity around how the two interact with each other.”
