Jérôme Berthemet — Paris, France

“Graphic designers are now becoming more and more specialised. We must explain our business, give people the keys to understand what graphic design is, what its role is, what are the rules… France is culturally attached to writing and it would be good to give greater attention to the image and its understanding.”

Jérôme Berthemet started creating flyers and posters for concerts for an association he founded. After receiving a master’s degree in aesthetic philosophy, he naturally decided to take advantage of what he had learned by pursuing another degree in information communications. Now, after five years working for an agency, he has gone freelance and is on the look-out for more team work and people with crossover skills.
