Jessica Frascht — Luxembourg

Why do you like screen-printing? “Unlike digital printing, you can use special colours such as neon or metallic inks. Also, you can print on almost all surfaces — paper, cardboard, glass and textiles. Duplication is another big advantage. Once the screen is coated, it can be used many times. The process of preparing, taping and de-coating the screen is probably the most challenging and often takes a lot of time.”

Jessica Frascht is an illustrator and designer based in Luxembourg. Currently, she is studying communication design in Trier, Germany. She has a deep affection for print-making such as screen-printing and linocuts, and the resulting textures. Her illustrations are influenced by art and Nature and attempt to have a modern approach to both new and old topics.
