That balance—prioritising creativity over pure technical mastery—not only keeps my work grounded but also gives me the motivation to engage with new tools when the concept truly demands it.”

Joan García Pons is a skilled designer from Menorca, currently residing in Barcelona, where he works as a freelance 3D artist. His career boasts a range of prominent roles, including Art Director at Six N. Five and freelance 3D artist for renowned studios worldwide. Joan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Design from BAU Centre Universitari de Disseny de Barcelona, a Bachelor’s in Design from Köln International School of Design, and a Master’s in Animation and VFX from Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya.
