Then there are others who will see it with a pornographic viewpoint; the desire to illustrate lust and stimulate our senses."

Born and raised in the outskirts of New York City, John Solis studied illustration at The School of Visual Arts in New York, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in fine arts in 2008. Immediately after his studies, he gained recognition from his "Hair" series on the intranet and at selected art shows throughout the East Coast. He has worked directly and collaborated with several creative agencies, and has had his work published for a variety of markets; including advertisements, editorial features and apparel design. Solis strives to bring together and unite the hidden, fine line between art and commercial application with his distinctive style and instinctive taste.
