Delcan's short film, The Dead, which he completed for the Sundance Channel, has garnered numerous awards and has also received nearly a million hits on YouTube.

Juan Delcan is a native of Madrid where he studied architecture and fine art. He began his career as a graphic designer and illustrator for Spanish magazines, only to find himself relocating to the US. Although he is primarily a live action director, his illustrations came to the attention of U2, who commissioned him to animate backdrops for the 2005 Vertigo Tour.
