“It is usually found when travelling in unusual places. The last one I came across was an abandoned theme-park sign on Route 66 in Arizona. The letters had really unusual characteristics and didn’t feel part of a larger trend or style.”

Originally from Paris, Jules Tardy is a multi-disciplinary designer now based in New York City. His wide-ranging clientele includes independent art galleries to industry leaders such as Equinox, Conde Nast, Zaha Hadid and Dropbox. Tardy previously worked at Mother New York before joining Collins in 2015 as a design director.
