“When I design a packaging I’m sensitive to precision, concentrating on details, shades of colour. I realised that the packaging of an aluminum can and the printing on this material require a different treatment of colours. The printing allows a palette of colours and precision much more restricted than on paper or cardboard. I had to adapt to technical constraints that limit the possibilities of creation. On the other hand, this material is interesting because the metalised brings another dimension that cannot be found on paper.”
Kaliday is the sobriquet under which this French art director specialises in packaging design in a creative agency based in Paris, conceiving and conceptualizing projects involving illustration, visual identity and art direction.
