Kiddo Creative — Inês Fonseca — Porto, Portugal

Why do you like screen-printing? “It is exciting and satisfying to be able to replicate colours that maybe we have only seen on the screen in real life, in a hand-made way. In terms of challenges, the more colours a project has, the longer the whole process will be, along with higher costs. Additionally, the method requires a bigger budget to produce professionally, and access to the materials for a screen-printing station is difficult.”

Inês Fonseca, also known as Kiddo, is a Portuguese graphic designer and illustrator. She recently finished her Master’s project, an illustrated book compiling information about body-hair. She says that what motivates her most in graphic design is “the desire to give good ideas, concepts and messages a platform, to receive the attention and seriousness they truly deserve.”
