Kristiana Hristova — Sofia, Bulgaria

“Before starting a new project, I always spend a good amount of time trying to find the exact display font that would suit my concept. A basic rule is that the display typeface must catch the user’s eye and communicate effectively without sacrificing clarity. We have to ensure that the letters are legible and practical to use, but still hold a significant artistic expression and a sense of originality and uniqueness, all while maintaining consistency and cohesion across all characters and glyphs. It’s all about finding the perfect visual balance!”

Kristiana Hristova is a freelance graphic designer with a self-assigned mission to tell stories and provoke curiosity through her work. She strongly believe that nowadays design can be a means of education and it’s our responsibility as designers to enrich society’s visual culture by providing meaningful content. She says she is“stubborn, self-demanding and always looking for an innovative approach. I pride myself on my ability to find inspiration by listening to my intuition and inner voice”.
