LaCharbonne — Camille Charbonneau — Montreal, Canada

“The biggest difference and challenge when painting on a wall versus on canvas or paper is the live aspect. I usually work digitally so I’m used to having the option to go back and edit my illustrations. When working with paint on big surfaces, that option isn’t really there anymore. It’s very challenging, but in a way it’s also very liberating. Committing to your piece and having to find solutions on the spot makes your brain think differently and you slowly learn to appreciate the little mistakes you make along the way.”

Camille Charbonneau aka “LaCharbonne” is a designer and illustrator “with an unconditional love for pink and patterns”.
