Lauren Yoe Jin Kim — New York, USA

Kim is currently working on KOREAT food festival as a Creative Director that will launch at this October’s Korea food festival sponsored by Seoul Metropolitan Government, American Express, Dolce Gusto, which takes place at Seoul City Hall. In this position, she contributed branding, brochure, naming and poster.

Mocca was Lauren Kim’s senior year project while she was studying Graphic/Interactive Design at SVA. She was challenged to re-design Mocca Museum NYC and design an imaginary exhibition called Bat-manga! She took a comic approach, using bold colour and font type, even though it was just a senior project, it is so well done and graphically inspired that it attracted lots of attention, which definitely gave Kim a very good start.
