Laurent Lejeune — Brussels, Belgium

"I don’t think professionals see Brussels as a leading country on the European design scene. Those who come to Brussels to start a career are mostly attracted by the multicultural environment that we offer. We are, after all, the capital of Europe, a central platform where people of all origins live and work."

Laurent Lejeune has been working for a while in the advertising sector, but he was previously a graphic designer at Mortiebrigade, an independent Belgian advertising agency that was recently voted the best boutique agency in the world at the New York Festival. He spends a lot of his time dabbling in old print techniques such as engraving with a 70-year-old press, silk-screening and typography.
