In "All The Way Round – An Exhibition about Circles", Lee hopes through such primary shapes and simple systems to inform solutions that connect audiences, pointing out that there’s no such thing as a perfect circle, just as life itself.

Lee Goater’s work is often formed by primary shapes, simple systems, and basic patterns and enjoys the restrictions forced by production process limitations. He was commissioned by Leeds Libraries and Dep Arts to create site-specific work for The Art Space within Leeds Central Library, to form part of the WordPlay series of exhibitions and events. Lee instantly decided to fill the space with his love of geometric shapes, especially the one he found most common and spiritualized – a circle.
