“I think that every pattern has its own story. For example, my ‘Numbness’ pattern used the most basic lines and shapes. For me, pattern is inspired by the little things around us, through observing them and turning them into satisfying visual effects.”

For Zwen, being a designer is about learning a series of life lessons. “I love the feeling of being able to solve problems on my own as it gives me the opportunity to learn to be independent and not give up easily,” she says. “This enables me to be optimistic and patient. Through the process of design, I gain confidence and am able to face the challenges in my life.”
