What is the most memorable piece of illustration you have come across? “I remember the first time I saw the work of Blexbolex in his book Seasons. I was so struck by it’s beauty and simplicity, how it evokes such an atmosphere and feeling within one image.”

Lucy Sherston is a freelance illustrator and artist who creates “playful compositions that seek to evidence the human hand”. Fuelled by a love of drawing and a hunger to learn, she says she aims to capture a sense of celebration in her designs.
