“A good publication design involves different elements, which combined properly and uniquely together create the final result. The concept of unity and system is key: every page should be a single piece of design, self-sufficient and at the same time part of the totality. Pacing is incredibly important in any editorial piece, keeping a balance between variables and constants, creating a unique rhythm (which can include aspects such as typography compositions, colour balance, graphic accent, size of paper, white space, etc.)”
Mane Tatoulian is a graphic designer, art director and writer from Armenia, where she gained a bachelor’s degree in graphic design with an exceptional diploma in the history of art. She collaborates with various companies around the world to help them “materialise their essence, constructing individual art with a social function, fulfilling my passion while I make things exist”.
