“Today it is common to see campaigns running online on our mobile phones, tablets, computers and TV. We process so much data in the course of a day that by the end of it, we can remember very little. The printed poster was born to give specific information about products and services. Its principal characteristic is that it should be eye-catching. A good poster is simple, clever, precise and memorable. I would like to cite the definition of poster designer Erendida Mancilla: ‘The poster works in the same field as poetry, generating images tied to the wings of imagination’.”
