“For me, Pop is about boldness and playfulness—it’s a visual language that speaks to people instantly, often tapping into nostalgia or everyday life. It doesn’t have to be loud, but it has to feel familiar or inviting in some way. My work plays with this idea of Pop through colour, shapes, items, and story-telling. I love using bright, striking palettes and simplified forms that feel almost like they belong in a memory. There’s a sense of lightness, a wink to popular aesthetics, but always filtered through my own perspective. I wouldn’t say my work is purely Pop, but it definitely flirts with it.”
