Michal Bohdankiewicz — Wroclaw, Poland

“My love of minimalism was sparked by books. I read a lot and I take immense pleasure from books as objects in themselves. I found that I loved the ones that are designed in a very minimal style, not emphasising graphic elements but rather the texture, the quality of the paper, the typography, good colour and harmony.”

Michal Bohdankiewicz gained his graphic design experience through freelancing and working with various studios including the famous Sagmeister & Walsh in New York. Currently Bohdankiewicz's interest gradually moved into art area, while making paintings and sculptures, he continues to use and explore his graphic design background in non-commercial works.
