“In my work I am driven by textures, materials, shapes and surfaces. I deal with the thin line that lies between imitation and interpretation. I am trying to capture a longing for authentic nature, and at the same time celebrate progress and its many benefits; maybe combine both emotions into one.”
Born in Israel 1984, Michal Fargo is an artist currently works and lives in London. In “Post Fossil” Michal continues to pursue her growing interest in cave man/primal aesthetics — she is mostly interested in how life was experienced by those individuals, what smells, colours and tastes were they experiencing.
