The most interesting patterns always make you want to wander around the entire system in a given image, searching for the rhythm and looking for pieces that look alike or have similarities. Having some sort of rhythm in the pattern to avoid making it another form of art. But consistency does not necessarily mean repetition.”

Mohamed Samir is a multi-disciplinary designer and artist whose career began as an engineer. Since 2014, he has worked on multi-scale projects with teams in Egypt, Dubai, the Netherlands, Singapore and London where he’s currently based. He has been recognised by several national and international awards for branding, typography, poster and print design.
