In Austria, national honours are awarded by the Federal Ministry of Economics to businesses that have rendered extraordinary services to the Austrian economy. The award authorises the companies or to carry the coat-of-arms of Austria with respective reference to their business documents, prints, labels, etc. Yet this high honour is only sparsely reflected on the provided signage – which is far from being a contemporary general impression and has unbalanced proportions. A re-design with regard to the meaning of the logo, as well as the possibility of integrating it into the corporate design of the respective companies in a smart way, would confer appropriate visual dignity.
