PLMD — Please Let Me Design — Brussels, Belgium / Nancy, France

"I think that Belgium is a central point, in the middle of some great countries that are very graphically evolved. This makes it a great place to start working internationally, with these other countries so relatively close by."

PLMD, or pleaseletmedesign, comprises a couple of young graphic designers – Pierre Smeets and Damien Aresta. They set up their studio in 2004 after graduating from the Saint-Luc Higher School of Arts in Liège and spending almost a full year at ERG (Graphic Research School) in Brussels. Their projects range from graphic design, books, posters, identities and stationery to exhibition design, signage, title sequences and websites in cultural sectors as diverse as music, architecture, cinema and advertising.
