"I regard graphic design as a democratic genre because each logo or poster must mean the same thing to everybody. I prefer minimalism, in the sense that my logos, letterheads, websites and other design projects that I make consist of the simple – as simple as is required to make it work."
Peter Vajda is a talented Hungarian freelance designer who was born in Budapest. As the founder of the interactive typography website Typeflash, he sees graphic design as a democratic form of expression and aims for minimalism to give stylistic consistency to his various projects. Vajda believes that logos or posters must have a common meaning for their viewers — and invites everyone to participate in the process by playing with letterforms with adjustable freedoms.
