“Every interaction or motion has an emotion– such as cheerful, soft, strong, moist and warm. We express these emotions via tension, smoothness and the effects of the UI. When working on interactive-design projects, we focus on the role or relevant screen that corresponds with the right emotion. And after that, how much to express the appropriate emotion in the relevant screen is important. Putting in too much emotion (interaction) is a mistake. User interface is formed with repetitive screens, so understating the expression of emotions is very important.”
